New York Family Story Paper
Description:	The New York Family Story Paper was first published in 1873 and as its name suggests, was intended for the entire family. It featured an array of serialized stories, poems, humor, sports and current events for children and adults alike. The front-page serialized stories, however, were aimed largely at women and featured tales of romance, jealousy and betrayal with titles such as "Lost for Love," "Her Guilty Secret," and "Her Cruel Husband." By 1892, the paper claimed a circulation of 150,000 readers. Format: 8 pages, with a large front-page illustration and additional imagery inside each issue.
